PlanSmart NJ designed FORUM 2020 to address environmental, economic, governance and infrastructure issues facing the Central Jersey region. The work involved extensive data collection and analysis, interviews and meetings with key stakeholders, and public outreach activities. The project resulted in a long-range plan, called VISION 2050, for sustainable growth that focuses on specific strategies to ensure the region’s prosperity and quality of life into the next century. PlanSmart NJ worked with the private sector, counties, municipalities and other agencies to build a constituency for implementing VISION 2050.
